Will you keep off the weight once you’ve lost it?
THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION YOU MUST CONSIDER.
You lost the weight that you wanted to. CONGRATULATIONS, but it’s not over yet. You still have to maintain the weight that you lost.
Now if you followed a sustainable weight loss program than it shouldn’t be hard keep the weight off, You just keep doing what you’re doing.. But if you went on a fad diet, losing 4-5 lbs a week by starving yourself, then it is likely you will gain the weight back, probably even more.
Let’s just assume that you did adopt a healthier life style and you did not choose a non-sustainable fad diet.
You need to continue those healthy eating habits that helped you lose those pounds.
If you want to prevent gaining the weight back don’t go back to how you used to eat.
Instead, keep evolving your knowledge on weightloss, and how to stay thin.
Don’t skip meals because it will cause you to overeat later in the day. Monitor your weight by weighing at least once every 2 days, so that you can nip little weight gains in the bud, and continue to exercise.
Remember, weight loss is all about adopting a healthier lifstyle and not going on a fad diet for a week.
